Quick Overview

You must try this wine. It is true boutique quality wine.

Wine Description

After 20 years of winemaking in the Barossa Valley, the Martin family decided to expand their winemaking operation to include in their range cool climate area grape varieties. So in March 2005 they bought an 80-area vineyard at Myponga in the Fleurieu Peninsula SA. They named it San Fernando Estate. This wine was produced from 60% Verdelho grapes grown on the Estate and 40% Barossa Chardonnay, the wine has strong appealing lifted aromas of peaches, green apples, with a hint of ripe melon. Opulent fruit weight on the palate extending to sweet tropical fruit characters balanced with a crisp acid finish.
