Fernando and Jeanette Martin and family are proudly celebrating the 25th anniversary of trading from their Chateau Dorrien premises.
The Martin family, headed by Fernando and Jeanette, purchased the old Dorrien winery from the Seppelt family in 1984, officially opening it as Chateau Dorrien on 13 January 1985.
In 1990 the family purchased Twin Valley Estate at Lyndoch and moved the winemaking operations of Chateau Dorrien to the Twin Valley site. All the Chateau Dorrien / Twin Valley / San Fernando Estate and Falcons Nest group of wines are sold at the Chateau Dorrien winery building in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
Fernando Martin is a third generation descendant of an Italian wine and liqueur making family.
Together with talented winemaker Ramon (Ray) Martin, the father and son team create fabulous Honey Liqueurs, Fortifieds, Red and White Wine, dedicating themselves to considerable effort to produce handcrafted products of medal winning quality and consistency in the family boutique winery.
